US–Iran Conflict

The conflict between the United States and Iran has been one of the most discussed issues in international politics for many years. The tension between these two countries mainly comes from political disagreements, differences in ideology, and influence in the Middle East. After the Iranian Revolution in 1979, the relationship between the two countries became very strained. The United States lost its close relationship with Iran, and since then both countries have often disagreed on political and military issues.
